The Egyptian Ethylene and Derivatives Company – Ethydco, has successfully exported its first shipment of new pallets made from recycled plastic to three of its clients, with ongoing preparations underway for exporting process abroad.
This success is the result of continuous development of production sources and their optimal utilization, as these pallets are made from 100% recycled plastic, providing a new competitive advantage for Ethydco-related Trademark (ADVANCENE®) in the petrochemical industry, where there is increasing demand for goods and services based on the circular economy.
It also supports the company's vision in sustainability and environmental conservation, as recycling plastic requires less energy than producing it from new resources, thereby reducing carbon emissions. This success also contributes to improving the packaging level of the company’s products and diversifying the sources of packaging materials.
This achievement comes within the framework of the circular economy and sustainable development, following Ethydco export process of recycled polyethylene to Spain and several other countries around the world.
