In line with Egypt's 2030 vision to support a knowledge-based economy and link it to scientific research, and in alignment with the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources' strategy to strengthen cooperation between the petroleum sector and academic research institutions in Egyptian universities, the partnership between Ethydco and the Faculty of Science Alexandria University has witnessed unprecedented progress. This collaboration has developed through distinguished training opportunities provided to students of Faculty of Science, Chemistry Department, at Ethydco’s facilities, where they gain both theoretical and practical experience, enhancing their technical skills to meet job market demands. Moreover, the partnership focuses on aligning research outputs and students' graduation projects with industry needs, utilizing the laboratory resources of both parties, and conducting joint applied research, including environmental impact assessments. Ethydco actively participates in supervising student graduation projects and offers additional opportunities for employee development, enabling them to pursue advanced academic degrees.
