he United Nations Global Compact is a platform for business and non-business entities to proactively network and engage in areas of human rights, labour, environment, anti-corruption and contributing to UN goals in order to achieve the common objectives of building a sustainable and inclusive global economy.
ETHYDCO, in September 2014, joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) by the acceptance of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and that shall allow ETHYDCO to proof its efforts locally and globally to support the human rights principles, Labor standards, Environment and Anti-corruption.
Responsible Care
Responsible Care is the chemical industry’s unique global initiative that drives continuous improvement in health, safety and environmental (HSE) performance, together with open and transparent communication with stakeholders. Responsible Care embraces the development and application of sustainable chemistry, helping our industry contribute to sustainable development while allowing us to meet the world’s growing need for essential chemicals and the products those chemicals make possible.
ETHYDCO, in November 2014, signed the declaration of support to responsible care global charter committed to the continued support of the Responsible Care® principles and to working in conjunction with Environmental Compliance and Sustainable development office /Federation of Egyptian Industries.
