Ethydco Celebrates World Day for Safety and Health at Work (Safety Stand Down ) and participated in all the events held by the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum, the most important of which was the workshop where Egyptian Minister of Petroleum HE / Tariq Al-Mulla discussed occupational safety and health procedures in the Egyptian petroleum sector with a number of leaders through video conferencing.
"The Ministry of Petroleum considers World Day for Safety and Health at Work (Safety Stand Down) to be a major part of the petrochemical industry in Egypt and the elements of integrated production in all petroleum activities," said Abdel Megueed Hegazi, Ethydco Chairman.
Moreover, Chemist. Abdel Megueed Hegazi praised the appointment of Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek Al-Mulla of an annual safety day and the importance of this in establishing the culture of safety among workers and translating it into a lifestyle in work, in order to build and strengthen a culture of prevention in the occupational safety and health field, raise awareness and knowledge of hazards and prevention, Also awarding an annual prizes to those who excel in this field will provide an incentive for all to work with the utmost effort to win the honor of receiving such recognition.
